Some central Illinois school districts have changed their COVID-19 rules following a Friday judge’s ruling that suspends state enforcement of masking and testing requirements.
Thursday’s release says 85% of ICU beds are in use, while 95% of total beds are in use in McLean County hospitals, a decrease of 7% and 4% respectively.
Complaints have ranged from testing results being delayed or not received at all, to results being provided to individuals who were never administered a test, to tests being stored improperly, and staff incorrectly using PPE and face masks.
The two Illinois-based companies, called Center for COVID Control and the Doctor’s Clinical Laboratory, ran pop-up testing centers nationwide, including eight sites in Minnesota.
