PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - A Peoria man will spend the next year in the custody of the Department of Human Services - after being found unfit to stand trial.

Cody Krause is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his grandmother, Glenda Rusterholz, in April.

New Peoria County Court documents go into even more detail about the horrific homicide scene at a south Peoria home - a scene some local officials say is one of the graphic they have ever seen.

Prosecutors allege Krause not only beat Rusterholz with a hammer, but they say he described in further detail how he desecrated her body.

During a search of the home, prosecutors says evidence was found pointing toward child pornography, including sexually explicit devices - one in the shape of a small child.

The have since searched multiple SD cards and a flash drive found in the home.

Krause has a fitness status review hearing scheduled for mid-October.

Prosecutors believed he could be ruled fit to stand trial in a year - the length of the court-prescribed treatment.
