(Heart of Illinois ABC) - The Mid-Illini soccer title was decided on Tuesday night and it was Dunlap emerging victorious with a 1-0 win over Morton. Sammi Cenek scored the game-winning goal just two minutes into the game and Alex Jensen pitched a shutout to lead the Eagles to victory. In Big Twelve soccer, Peoria Notre Dame blanked Bloomington 6-0.

In track, Limestone took home the boys Mid-Illini title behind a dominant night from Wilson Georges. Georges won the 800, 1600 and 3200 individually and also anchored the Rockets’ win in the 4x800 relay.

In baseball, Normal Community got a nice win over Big Twelve Conference champ Bloomington 10-6. Elsewhere, Normal West rolled past Peoria Notre Dame 17-3. In small schools action, Brimfield beat Delavan 10-3.

In softball, Metamora beat Morton 8-3, East Peoria blanked Dunlap 5-0 and Washington beat Pekin 3-0.
