Man who escaped from hospital transport located in Tennessee

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (Heart of Illinois ABC) - A man who escaped from a hospital transport on I-39 in Woodford County last week has been located in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Javier Aguirre, 47, of Hoopeston, had escaped the night of Wednesday, May 4.
Illinois State Police says Aguirre was taken into custody without incident and is no longer a threat to the community.
A balanced approach is being taken regarding Aguirre’s health concerns and the victim’s rights.
No further information will be released by state police.
