PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - Another day of wet conditions is in store before we see dry, summer-like conditions arrive.

A few light showers will be possible ahead of sunrise this morning. A bit of patchy fog is also possible through the morning. Rain chances will increase as we head through the mid to late morning and into the afternoon as the second round of widespread rain arrives. Showers will continue into Friday evening before finally coming to an end. An additional half an inch to an inch of rainfall will be possible across the region today, with a few heavy downpours possible.

Another round of wet, dreary conditions return for the end of the work week.
