Dreary start Wednesday but we’ll dry out by the afternoon
Steady/falling temperatures
PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - We’ll see lingering rain showers this morning as a system exits off towards our east. Rain will taper off from the south to the north, and likely just be light rain showers or drizzle. Cloudy and cool for the rest of the day with temperatures rather steady through lunch time, then falling into the low 50s this afternoon and the upper 40s this evening.

We’ll wake up Wednesday with temperatures in the low to mid 40s, and partly cloudy skies. Cloud coverage will increase throughout the day and the dry weather will continue. Highs will be seasonably cool in the low 60s.

More rain chances arrive Thursday and Friday as showers and a chance for some thunderstorms to work through the area. We’ll dry out and warm up for Mother’s Day weekend with temperatures in the upper 60s Saturday and low to mid 70s Sunday!
