South of 74, likely starting off with mostly sunny skies thanks to a high pressure system in southern Illinois. Temperatures to start will be in the upper 40s low 50s, and highs will climb into the low 60s.

We’ll see clouds continue to increase throughout the day as a system works in overnight from the west. This system will bring widespread rain, moderate to heavy rainfall, and a few sub-severe thunderstorms are possible. The bulk of the rainfall will fall overnight, so by the morning expect mostly dry conditions with some lingering scattered showers east of the river. Some areas could see over an inch in rainfall accumulation.
