PEKIN (Heart of Illinois ABC) - A fitness test for a Tazewell County man charged with attempted murder, battery and arson indicates the man is unfit to stand trial.
Judge Chris Doscotch set David Naffziger’s next court appearance for 3:30 p.m. on May 4 where Judge Doscotch will decide if he is unfit.
Naffziger allegedly stabbed his sister and dog, claiming they were both controlled by spirits.
In a later interview with police, Naffziger reportedly admitted starting a house fire - knowing his sister was inside the house.
