(Heart of Illinois ABC) - Tuesday brought us the Intercity Track Meet at Bloomington High and it brought us plenty of fast times, especially on the girls side. Normal U-High’s Anna Barr blazed her way to a trio of wins in the 100, 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles as the Pioneers shared the team title. They shared with Normal Community who was led by four wins from Ali Ince. She won the 400 with a school record time of 56.04 seconds, the 800, the 1600 and then anchored the Iron’s win in the 4x400 relay. Normal West won the boys team title in dominant fashion.

In baseball, Bloomington stayed unbeaten in Big 12 play with a 12-2 win over Champaign Central. Normal West was a 7-5 winner over Peoria Richwoods while Normal Community swept a doubleheader from Peoria High.

In softball, East Peoria stays unbeaten in the Mid-Illini with a 5-2 win over East Peoria. Elsewhere, Illini Bluffs rolled past Peoria Christian and Pontiac shutout IVC 7-0.

In soccer, Dunlap and Morton both remain undefeated in conference play. The Eagles beat Limestone 7-0 while the Potters topped East Peoria 8-0.
