Cold Tuesday morning followed by plenty of sunshine
PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - Freeze Warnings remain in effect until 8 AM area-wide as temperatures will run in the lower 30′s early this morning. A bit of patchy frost cannot be ruled out.
Tuesday will be quiet with plenty of sunshine through the day due to high pressure building from the west. Temperatures will remain below average with daytime highs reaching the mid 50′s for most.

Dry conditions will continue for Wednesday before rain chances build heading into the weekend. Thursday and Friday will bring the chance for scattered showers. Our best chance for rain, along with some thunderstorms, will be on Saturday. While we will see rain chances increase, warmer temperatures will arrive as well. Daytime highs will return to the upper 60′s by the end of the weekend.
