Cooler temperatures to start the work week
PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - Below average temperatures return through much of the work week after the warmest conditions of the year so far this past weekend.
The last bits of overnight rain will depart the region as a cold front moves east. This cold front will bring cooler and breezy conditions for our Monday. Expect mostly cloudy skies for the first half of the day before clouds gradually begin to clear. Daytime highs will trend about 10-15 degrees colder than Sunday, with highs in the lower 50′s for most.

Freeze Warnings will go into effect tonight through Tuesday morning as temperatures will drop into the lower 30′s and upper 20′s. A bit of frost cannot be ruled out Tuesday morning.
We’ll enjoy plenty of dry time through the week, with our next chance for rain arriving Thursday and Friday.
Make sure to tune in this morning for the full 10 Day Forecast!
