On and off rain and storms the next several days
PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - An active weather pattern starts today, with multiple chances for rain and thunderstorms over the next several days.
You’ll want the rain gear ready, as a wet and windy Wednesday is in store. This morning will bring scattered rain, but our greatest chance for rain will arrive during the late afternoon into the dinner hours. Widespread rain will quickly overspread the region with a few rumbles of thunder being possible. Strong winds should be expected, with gusts up to 40 miles per hour out of the south-southwest.

Thursday will be quiet apart from rain building late Thursday night. We’ll enjoy warmer temperatures with highs in the 70′s along with partly cloudy skies.
Thursday nights rain chance will be driven by another system that will impact the area Friday morning. This system will be driven by a lifting warm front. An isolated strong to severe storm looks possible.
