Sunny Tuesday ahead of warmer and wetter weather
PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - Another chilly morning is in store across the Heart of Illinois. Clear skies have allowed for temperatures to drop into the lower 30′s and upper 20′s.
Tuesday will be the pick of the week. We’ll enjoy plenty of sunshine and a little bit warmer temperatures as compared to Monday. Daytime highs will top out in the lower 50′s. While it will be warmer, we’ll remain well below average for this time of year as daily highs should be in the mid 60′s.

Changes will start to take place over the next several days. Wednesday will start off dry, but widespread rain will overspread the region by the late evening. Rain and storms will also be possible Friday and Sunday.

While our rain chances look to increase, so will our temperatures. We’ll quickly see above average temperatures return, with highs in the 80′s possible by Saturday.
