PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - Light rain and flurries will come to an end Friday evening as low pressure exits the region.

Clouds will gradually clear as we head into Saturday morning. This will allow temperatures to drop down to near freezing again. Expect lows in the lower 30′s for most.

Warmer conditions will return through the weekend providing a needed break after the work week’s active conditions. Saturday will remain cool, with temperatures trending 10 degrees below average for this time of year. Highs will reach the upper 40′s to lower 50′s. Sunday will be warmer, with highs around 60 degrees, but windy conditions could act as a spoiler. Gusts up to 30 miles per hour will be possible through Sunday’s forecast.
