PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - Much of our Wednesday will be dry, but a few afternoon showers are possible.

Overnight rain will quickly exit the region through the morning drive, with rain set to wrap up by around 8 AM for our easternmost counties. Clouds will gradually clear through the morning leaving us with mostly sunny skies into the early afternoon. Clouds will quickly fill back in, however; as a few additional showers look to be possible. Despite the chance for a few afternoon showers, most of us look to remain dry and we’ll all enjoy plenty of dry time throughout the workday.
