A greater chance for rain will arrive late Tuesday into Wednesday morning as our next storm system enters the region. Expect showers and a few storms to continue to overspread the region. This will lead to widespread rain by Wednesday morning and especially for the early afternoon.
An isolated strong to severe strong cannot be ruled out. Our primary threat would be strong winds, with gusts up to 50 miles per hour possible.
Rainfall totals exceeding 1″ will be possible between this evening and Wednesday evening. A few additional showers may linger into Thursday morning before this system exits the region.
