Gusty end to the work week
PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - Widespread rain has come to an end, but gusty conditions will dominate our Friday’s forecast. Wind Advisories will go into effect starting at 1 PM this afternoon as strong winds enter the region.

Winds up to 40 miles per hour will be possible out of the west-northwest.
Daytime highs will run in the upper 40′s to lower 40′s, but the strong winds will make it feel about 10 degrees cooler this afternoon.
A few showers will be possible this afternoon as a front passes through the region, but most will remain dry. This front could even lead to a few flurries tonight as temperatures drop below freezing.

The weekend will bring plenty of sunshine, but cooler temperatures. Daytime highs will only reach the mid to lower 40′s.
