Rain continues for the midweek
PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - We won’t see much change in our forecast for Wednesday as widespread rain continues across the region.
Similar to Tuesday, our morning will feature a bit of dry time. A few showers will still be possible during this time, but the better chance for rain will build around lunchtime into the afternoon. A few cold air funnels are possible this afternoon, but chances are low. These would be caused by increasing instability along with a increasing temperature differences in the atmosphere.

Expect scattered showers to continue through the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will remain near average despite the rain and cloudy skies. Daytime highs will run in the mid to upper 50′s.
