Tracking another round of snow this week

PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - Quiet conditions are in store for the next few days ahead of another round of snow in the forecast.

Tuesday morning will start off cold with temperatures in the teens to lower 20′s for the morning commute. We’ll enjoy plenty of sunshine for the morning before clouds gradually build through the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will reach the upper 30′s to lower 40′s for daytime highs.

Wednesday will be a near carbon copy of Tuesday with highs in the mid 40′s along with mostly sunny skies.

Our next chance for snow looks to arrive as early as Thursday afternoon. Expect this snow to continue into Friday morning.

While it may be a bit early to dive into exact specifics with snowfall totals, there is a good probability that much of the region will see accumulating snowfall. Based off current data, much of the region has a fair chance to see a few inches of accumulation.
