Area first responders celebrate birthday of biggest cheerleader

PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - Dozens of first responders from agencies around the Heart of Illinois came together to Northwoods Mall to celebrate a special birthday.
Police officers, sheriff’s deputies, firefighters and EMTs were there for little Sophia.
Sophia is from Bellvue and loves law enforcement and first responders.
Her Facebook page, Sophia Salutes First Responders, has over 5,300 likes.
Today, everyone was gathered for her for a fifth birthday surprise.
They lined up for her as she walked down the middle of police cars and fire engines as they cheered her on.
