Woman given jail time for shooting a man at a Peoria bar last spring

PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - A woman has been sentenced to two months in the county jail after she pleaded guilty to shooting a man at a Peoria bar last spring.

Ronda Frye, 50, gets credit for 30 days already served and she’ll spend four years on probation for pleading guilty to aggravated discharge of a firearm.

Authorities said Frye fired a gun one morning last April at Hogs & Dogs Saloon on Farmington Road. A 73-year old man was grazed by a bullet, but refused to be taken to the hospital, according to police

Frye pleaded guilty January 13, according to court records.
