PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - I mean, yeah, the title is pretty much the entire story but I can elaborate a little more if you want. Very cold this Thursday with highs in the mid-teens, though that won’t matter with the wind chill never reaching above zero. It will be sunny today, however, it won’t help as a northwesterly wind will gust up to about 20 miles per hour. Tonight, the measured temperature will drop to near zero, thankfully the wind will calm down by the evening so the wind chill won’t be as much of a problem.

A Wind Chill Advisory will last until noon.

Above is an hourly look at the wind chill for Peoria throughout the day.

Looking ahead to the weekend, there are some chances for some light snow with warmer temperatures, the mid-20s on Saturday and low-30s on Sunday. Mostly cloudy skies through the weekend into Monday.
