PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - It’ll be another night of bitter cold across the Heart of Illinois with lows near zero, but the good news is winds will be calm which means wind chills won’t be as much of a factor as they were this morning.

However, any light breeze will be enough to knock our wind chills back below zero.

We’ll see clear skies overnight will more sunshine throughout the day tomorrow. Highs will reach the low to mid 20s tomorrow afternoon.

Expect more cloud cover as we head into the weekend, and we could even see a few flurries in spots Saturday morning. Otherwise it should be a dry start to the weekend with highs near 30.

Light snow will be possible Saturday night and Sunday morning. Accumulation may be possible, especially near and north of I-74, but totals will be minimal. Most (if not all) will likely see less than an inch of snow.
