BlOOMINGTON (HEART OF ILLINOIS ABC) - Bloomington’s State Farm Insurance said Monday it is looking to hire more than 3,400 employees, and have scheduled two virtual job fairs in the coming days to meet with prospective candidates.
In a news release, State Farm said it’s hiring full-and-part-time workers across the country after “a record breaking year of growth.”
Positions are available in claims, customer service, sales, and underwriting. State Farm said some of the jobs on claims teams require bilingual employees for Spanish, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Mandarin, and Korean.
Primary job locations are at the company’s Bloomington headquarters, in Dallas, Phoenix, and Atlanta.
Besides in-person employment, the company said there are work-from-home opportunities and a “hybrid” option in which employees would work from the office one week each month.
Candidates applying for in-office and “hybrid” positions can register online to participate in the first virtual job fair, scheduled for Thursday, January 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Central Standard Time.
Candidates interested in work-from-home claims positions can register online for the second virtual job fair, scheduled for Thursday, January 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Central Standard Time.
