PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - Current Illinois Governor JB Pritzker is bolstering his run for re-election in November.

The heir to the Hyatt hotel fortune made a $90 million contribution to his campaign fund on Friday.

During his run for office in 2018, Pritzker set a record for the most individual contributions for a person’s own gubernatorial campaign, ever.

Pritzker’s estimated campaign expenditures during the 2018 run were about $170 million.
