PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - After some snow Friday into Saturday we have seen the cloud cover move out and the sun has come out. But, it is very cold and quite windy, making it feel colder. Tonight, we’ll see partly cloudy skies with lows dropping to the low-teens. Wind chills will drop to the single digits and more rural areas will likely see measured temperatures drop to the single digits, resulting in even lower wind chills.

Tomorrow, similarly cold with highs in the upper-20s. It won’t be as windy but it won’t be as uneventful either. Increasing clouds into the afternoon and turning cloudy as we head into the nighttime hours.

There is a chance for snow that moves in during the afternoon hours and increases slightly after sunset. This won’t be much snowfall but something that may be observable. It should clear out for the most part before sunrise Monday morning. Lows tomorrow night will drop to the upper teens.

We’ll see a temporary warm-up beginning Monday with highs near freezing. Tuesday, highs will reach the low-40s. Back to the low-30s Wednesday and temperatures will crash into the single digits late Wednesday.
