Man arrested after Thursday morning vehicle burglary

PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - A man has been arrested after a Thursday morning incident of someone suspected of attempting to break into cars and houses.
Nicholas March, 27, was arrested for burglary and resisting/obstructing a police officer, according to booking records and confirmed by Peoria Police.
Police say around 3:30 a.m. Thursday officers responded to the area of W. Stonegate and Wyss for a report of someone attempting to break into cars and houses.
Officers found March hiding behind a residence and took the person into custody without incident.
During the arrest police found possible stolen property inside a backpack the suspect was carrying.
March’s bond review hearing is January 19 at 2 p.m.
