Snow finally falls in the Heart of Illinois

PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - It took longer than most years, but it finally happened.
We were flirting with the record for the latest first measurable snow on record in Peoria. While we didn’t set a new record this year, we did make the top 3.

Peoria did actually have four days with a trace of snow in November, but officially 0.1″ needs to fall for it to be considered measurable.

- Peoria International Airport, 2.7″
- Knoxville, 2.4″
- Peoria Heights, 2.4″
- Roanoke, 2.4″
- Yates City, 2.1″
- Norwood, 2.0″
- Henry, 2.0″
- Washington, 2.0″
- Hanna City, 2.0″
- Groveland, 1.5″
- Creve Coeur, 1.5″
