High School Hoops 12-1

(Heart of Illinois ABC) - The first state rankings of the high school basketball season were released on Wednesday and local teams were very well represented. Peoria High is the No. 1 girls team in the state in 3A while the Brimfield girls take home the same distinction in 1A. The highest ranked boys team in the area comes in 3A with the No. 3 Peoria Notre Dame Irish. Peoria Christian is No. 4 in the 1A poll and kept their winning streak going with a win over Putnam County on Wednesday.
